Sample Description
Chunks of azurite on a black mineral. IMAGE_OF_SAMPLE:
XRD Analysis
40 kV - 30 mA, 6.5-9.5 keV File: azur316.out, *_mdi (smear mount on quartz plate) References: JCPDS #11-682 Found: Azurite Comment: Sharp peaks with distinct alpha1-alpha2 separation indicate good crystallinity. Three weak to very weak reflections are not present in the JCPDS listing but are present in Huebner's reference pattern for azurite from Bisbee, AZ. J.S. Huebner, J. Pickrell, and T. Schaefer, 1994, written communication.
